At the halfway mark of the spring legislative session, a number of bills sponsored by Senator Tim Bivins have been approved by the Senate and now wait action in the House of Representatives.

Lawmakers return to Springfield April 21. The Senate will consider bills that originated in and were passed by the House of Representatives, and the House will consider bills that originated in and were passed by the Senate.

“The Senate met an April 3 deadline to pass bills that originated in the Senate,” Senator Bivins said. “Quite a few of the bills I am sponsoring or cosponsoring have been approved by the Senate and now head to the House for further consideration. The Senate has also adopted a Senate resolution that honors a local resident who was killed overseas.”
