More than $71.2 million has been allocated for road and bridge improvements in the 45th Senate District during Fiscal Year 2012, according to Senator Tim Bivins.

The 45th District Senator said 30 local projects affecting 37.09 miles are included in the state’s Highway Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2012, which starts July 1, 2011. The six-year plan also includes an additional $115 million for local roads and bridges.
